This Advanced Premium digital upper arm automatic blood pressure monitor features both patented Irregular Heartbeat Detection (IHD) and Microlife Average Mode (MAM) technology. IHD detects the appearance of an irregular heartbeat during measurement and gives a warning signal with your reading. An irregular heartbeat may indicate or cause cardiovascular disease. Leading cardiologists recommend taking three consecutive blood pressure measurements and averaging them for a more accurate result. I use this BPM daily and have had good luck with it. My first unit failed due to a poorly designed rear usb connector, but the technical support staff arranged for an exchange very quickly. Frankly, Microlife has the best technical support I have used in recent memory.

Great price at Costco – less than $[...]. But what good is it if the readings are not accurate. Diastolic about 10 points lower than actual doctor’s office measurements. My doctor said to get an Omron and I subsequently did. Also at Costco – $[...] It is perfect.
Re Microlife – very hard to get the cuff on as they want you to wear it.
Small cuff was too small. Large cuff was too large.
Every time I moved the unit I accidentally turned on the cuff.

This monitor seems to provide accurate readings and is easy to use. It has ample memory. A quality product.

I like the unit. It has a carrying case for easy take along. It is a sleek, good looking device. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that, sometimes, when I return it to the case and close the top with the zipper, it gets turned on from the pressure of closing it. That requires opening the case and turning the unit off. Not a big problem.
Overall, I think it a good buy.
